Our history

Sphere International School was founded in 2004 with the mission of contributing to the development of citizens who are critical, knowledgeable and good communicators, capable of working cooperatively and with mobility to interact in national and international contexts. Today, as part of Grupo SEB de Educação, it continues setting a benchmark in bilingual education, offering a complete cycle in both the Brazilian and international curriculums.

We educate children from Early Childhood Education to High School, with the three IB programmes – Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). The offer of this continuum attests to the international quality of our education.

For us, the future began in 2004...

Sphere International School was conceived after the successful experience of its first school campus, located in the municipality of São José dos Campos, São Paulo. Founded in 2004 with a differentiated pedagogy and with a strong commitment to continuous teacher training, our campus has consolidated itself as a reference in quality education. It is part of the UNESCO Network of Associated Schools and is internationally certified by the IB (International Baccalaureate ®) in the programs: PYP (Primary Years Programme), MYP (Middle Years Programme) and is a DP (Diploma Programme) candidate school, being one of 4 fully certified schools, out of over 50 international schools in Brazil.

With already consolidated work in the area of bilingual and international education, in 2015 the school was acquired by the SEB Group. In 2019, the Group announced its intention to expand its educational model to the main Brazilian cities, in order to bring to more children, young people and their families, an innovative and international education of excellence.

Thus the Sphere International School network was established!
